About Me

Bill Hebson is one of South Florida’s most sought after and respected personal trainers. With over 30 years of experience in the fitness industry Bill is uniquely qualified in the practice of prescriptive exercise. Bill has provided over 50,000 hours of face to face personal training sessions and has operated his exclusive personal training service continuously since 1986.

Bill has worked with a variety of Olympic and elite World Class professional athletes. His training has taken his athletes to the highest echelon of every major professional sport; 1000 yard NFL rushing backs, MLB starters, the LPGA Tour, the courts of Wimbleton, the tubes at Pipeline and even the heights of Mt. Everest.

Bill has been an early innovator and a pioneer of a philosophy of training now described as “functional training.” Bill was the founder of one of the first functional training studio’s to operate nationally and the first to exist in Florida. He was also a founding partner with Juan Carlos Santana in the Institute of Human Performance, Boca Raton, Florida. The Institute is hailed nationally as a visionary functional training facility and teaching gym. Bill is an educational resource for the fitness industry and a continuing education provider for several national certification bodies.

He has been an approved internship provider resource for Florida Atlantic University’s exercise science department and Keiser University’s sports medicine program. Bill is a popular speaker, presenter and writer and is an acknowledged “expert “ in the field. Bill is the co-author of Burn Fat x 10, a revolutionary fat loss ebook that profiles Bill’s Metabolic Blast Training and advanced dietary strategies. Bill writes and produces WorkoutAmerica .TV an eclectic on-line training magazine.

  • Neal Starkey – Olympic Weightlifting: 1980 Olympic Team USA, Pan America Games USA, Masters World Champion and Masters World Record Holder

As a teenager, Bill Hebson competed on the national platform as an Olympic weightlifter and was coached by Stan Stanczyk, the 1948 Olympic gold medalist and five-time world champion. He studied karate under close friend and mentor Well Weiss, national kata champion, and Harold Roth, world middleweight kickboxing champion.

Bill has won numerous Florida bodybuilding and titles and has competed successfully as a triathlete.

Bill danced on scholarship at the Miami Conservatory under Thomas Armour and was a company member with the internationally acclaimed Demetrius Klein Dance Company. He has been a featured choreographer, performer, and faculty member at the Florida State Dance Festival the Demetrius Klein Dance Festival and various college venues. He was the founder and artistic director of Zero Gravity Dance, a professional jazz/modern company.
